Our Story

The Veterans Honor Flight of ND/MN is comprised of a 100% volunteer organization. Our Organization offers a once-in-a-lifetime experience for our Veterans and allow them to pay respects to fallen comrades and finally bring closure. One Korean War Veteran said, “This trip was the best thing that ever happened to me. It showed me that my buddies didn’t die in vain.” The trip consists of a chartered plane, 2 overnight stays, tour buses, meals, jacket, hat, polo shirt, biography book & surprise mail call. There is no cost to the Veteran. The Veterans Honor Flight is a hub of the National Honor Flight Network. Since 2007 more than 1876 Veterans from ND and MN have flown free to visit their memorials. The cost to send one Veteran is $1,600.00, but the memories are priceless. We take
